DanceHall music is important, however, to all community fans when it represents the ‘voice of the ghetto’.

Major record companies shelve and isolate cultured Reggae artists.

Anthony Ashfield is Regalia Entertainment’s founder and creative director.  Ashfield was house producer for the famed Trojan Records where he produced many classic Reggae artists and is noted for his international success with John Holt.

 

Regalia Entertainment was formed to support Ashfield’s creative endeavors – a people’s company which represents the Reggae Industry Membership in the restoration of the Reggae industry and the revitalization of Sound System ‘Hit Record’ Dancehall Entertainment.   Ashfield has experienced the power of Reggae, he knows the ingredient for Hit Records and how to establish Reggae superstars.

 

Ashfield is reinventing the wheel, returning to the essence of Reggae ‘One Love’ culture.  He is going back to the mid-seventies when Reggae was peaking – when it was organizing and demand was pushing the music into the international charts – when rhythmical beats and chord structures progressed – when Reggae drew inspiration from the Reggae Trooper, dictating dance and fashion – when the sound system was the featured entertainment and the soundman ruled.  Back to the sound system performances where the combination of Reggae’s cultural elements merge and manifest the essence of Reggae culture, the Reggae One Drop Dance Pulse and the ‘One Love’ consciousness that it induces.  Back to the root – to the musical stables and their Hit Record formula – the key to a new Reggae era.
